When Walter “Dutch” A. Soefker Sr. and Walter “Bud” A. Soefker Jr. started W.A. Soefker and Son, Inc. in 1943, neither could have predicted the growth that the company would experience over the next 70+ years. At the beginning, as the president of the Plumbers Local and a member of the Memphis Police Department, Walter Soefker Sr. balanced his love for playing semi-pro baseball with building a business. Walter Soefker Jr. was a local Golden Gloves Boxer and brought that same passion for hitting the mark to his business strategy. Both men started from scratch to create a company that would become one of the most trusted names in heating and cooling in the Mid-South.

Now, Walter “Buddy” A. Soefker III and Brett Alan Soefker, third- and fourth-generation family members, are continuing the legacy of W.A. Soefker and Son, Inc. and carrying the company into a new era of Green Energy.
